This is our first record—the first music we ever made together. We started recording Autumn Dreams in November 2016 and wrapped up the sessions with Spells and Curses in September 2017.
The recordings took place in a studio in Aachen, Germany—a space that used to be a pickle factory before it turned into a place for music. Somehow, that history stuck with the sound.
This record was made completely independently—no label, no producer—funded and carried by us from start to finish.
In 2025, the songs finally got the attention they deserved. The album was mixed and mastered by Eric Michels, who had worked in that same studio back in the day—bringing things full circle. Thanks for listening! Polly & Flow
